How many people in the industry would have the guts to put up such a signage on their main door, requesting clients call only with pre-booked appointments ? And how many people in the industry would put up yet another signage inside their offices making it clear that the clients first have to deposit a service fee up-front, which, of course, is adjustable in the package cost, should they eventually book the holiday.
In all my 29 years of being in this industry, I have only come across one such case, and that too very recently.Not many would be willing to take such a risk is what I am betting on. It may seem like a crazy business model to adopt, but nevertheless it seems to be working well for one company.
I charge same amount too which is adjustable against booking. My itineraries are absolutely dovetailed to the client’s requirements and most often they end up buying the services too…
