Tourism Interface is much more than a Travel Trade media site and while industry news is a major part of it, we also offer several other capabilities on this platform. It is also a free service that seeks to connect those who are seeking specific services with the suppliers of those services. It is a meeting ground where each user is treated as an equal, without any prejudice or bias, and each one has an equal opportunity to showcase their products and services.
As part of this project, we are compiling an Online Travel Trade Directory, where we offer free listings to all stake-holders from the industry. Several leading players have already listed themselves, including names like GNTO (German National Tourist Office), Sands Macao Cotai Strip Resorts, The Venetian Macao, Holiday Inn Macao, Singapore Airlines, Interglobe Aviation etc, to name a few. We invite you to place free listings for your organization as well as the organisations represented by you. Alternately, you can mail the details to us and we can create the listings for you. You can visit the Directory by clicking here.
We also have a “Join The Conversation” link on the site, where you or your team members can directly post any press releases / promotion under any of the given categories, including a B2B promos showcase etc. Formal discussion forums are also planned for addition to the site later this year, which would again be industry specific.
Two distinct sections of the site are Hotel Reviews & Travelogues, where you will find reviews of several hotels and some very interesting and humorous travelogues. What makes this section different is that these reviews and travelogues are written by industry professionals, for industry professionals. The Spotlight Section carries featured articles and editorials.
Another section that has recently been added is Visual Journeys, which showcases selected destinations, attractions and hotels etc. Each page takes you through a specially prepared featured presentation, or a Visual Journey, as we call it, along with an image gallery. This section is the only paid feature on the site. Should you wish to have a similar destination presentation made and posted online, we would be happy to create it for you based on material to be provided by you (Images & Text etc).
Within this section, we also have the capability to run an associated quiz on the featured Visual Journey, and this section can also be used as a training platform, where after viewing the presentation and image gallery and other associated information, viewers can be asked to participate in an online quiz that will record their scores as well. This can be done just for fun, or it can be used as a test of knowledge from the training perspective. Should you wish to run such a quiz, you can mail the details to us and we would be happy to set it up for you.
The site linked with various social media, including Facebook, Linked In, Twitter & Pinterest. All updates on the site are automatically announced on the social media. We also have a group by the same name on Facebook, which comprises of 800+ Tourism professionals, and is meant purely for B2B interaction.
Tourism Interface is brought to you by Rajiv Bajaj, an aviation & Travel industry professional.
