THAI Holds Aircraft Anointing Ceremony for Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner and Airbus 380-800

Somdej Phra Maha Muneewong, Abbot of Wat Rajabopit Sathitmahasimaram Rajaworavihara, presided over the Aircraft Anointing Ceremony for Thai Airways International Public Company Limited’s two aircrafts, Boeing 787-8 royally bestowed the name “PRAN BURI” and Airbus 380-800 royally bestowed the name “CHAIYA”. Presenting at the ceremony were Mr. Charamporn Jotikasthira (second from left), THAI President, THAI Management team and honored guests. The ceremony held at Hanger Area of THAI’s Technical Department, Suvarnabhumi.

Both aircraft are equipped with state-of-the-art passenger seats and personal screens with the latest in-flight entertainment system in all classes of travel. Currently, THAI has four Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner and six Airbus 380-800 aircrafts in its fleet.
