Marriott International Launches 2014 Annual Report

The “World’s Favorite Travel Company,” Marriott International, debuted its interactive 2014 Annual Report today. Focusing on the millennial and the millennial-at-heart traveler, the mobile- friendly report showcases the hospitality company’s leading portfolio of brands while highlighting a record year of strong financial performance and growth.

Highlights include:

  •  Details on record growth, with more than 1,400 properties and 240,000 rooms under development, a signing pace of nearly two new hotels per day, as well as updates from the Europe, Americas, Middle East and Africa, and Asia Pacific regions.
  • One of the world’s top consumer eCommerce websites, Marriott.com made over $10 billion in gross room bookings in 2014.
  • Marriott’s commitment to communities, including the opening of the Haiti Marriott Port-au-Prince, which created 200 jobs for local Haitians.
  • A video showcasing key headlines and exciting new brands and properties, such as Protea, Moxy Hotels, EDITION, and the addition of Atlantis, Paradise Island to the Autograph Collection.
