Tourism Interface
Welcome to Tourism Interface – a professional information sharing platform exclusively for the Tourism & Allied industries. Unlike most other networking sites, we are industry specific. The term Allied Industries includes Tourism Boards & NTO’s, Aviation, Airlines, Tour Operators (Inbound / Outbound), Travel Agents, Travel Agents (Retail / B2B / Others), Hotel & Hospitality Industry members, Cruise Operators & Cruise marketing Companies, Transport Service Providers, Travel Technology Providers, GDS / CRS companies, Online Travel Companies, Destination Management Companies, MICE organisations etc.
Our guiding philosophy for this site is very simple – “Friendly cooperation will get you far more than unfriendly agitation in any market.” – Napoleon Hill.
It was this same philosophy that led us to create a group by the same name on Facebook & Linked-In earlier, and this site was the next logical step in the same direction. However, this aims at being a far more broader platform. The site proposes to host several blog categories – one for each segment of the Tourism industry. Needless to say that we intend to keep this as a free service, and there will be no charges whatsoever to the members or subscribers, as we intend to keep the site advertisement-supported.
“Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines, sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.” – Mark Twain
“The world is a book and those who do not travel read only one page.” – St. Augustine
TOURISM & TRAVEL as an industry is vital to the economy of any country. This site is dedicated to the travel trade. As responsible members of this industry, we contribute to the growth of this industry and at the same time, we rely on each other for products and services. No company can survive on its own – we need each other.
And hence this site, which is created as a purely B2B forum for industry members to interact and trade in ideas as well as products. The site membership is open to Travel Agents, Tour Operators, Hoteliers, Airline personnel, and members of the travel trade, aviation industry, and hospitality industry in general.
Feel free to have your company’s products and services listed under the Showcase section so long as you observe the rules. The rules are simple – no spamming. Only one post per day by each member highlighting their products and services. Be considerate of other members – no derogatory or foul language please ! If you have issues with any member of the group, please raise them privately and not publicly on this platform. Respect begets respect.
Share your reviews of destinations and products, so that other members can benefit from your experience.
We encourage free, fair and healthy competition, and members offering competing products and services are free to list their products and services. However, please desist from a direct post as a response to any competitor. Please highlight your products and services separately in your own post.
Here’s wishing everyone a fruitful interaction.
